Silverjet is a UK based, business class only airline operating daily between London Luton and New York, Newark Airport.

Silverjet was launched in 2006 with one Boeing 767 aircraft configured with 6 foot 3 inch long flat beds throughout the cabin. Currently only flying one route between London Luton and New York’s Newark airport, Silverjet has announced its intention to rapidly expand the range of destinations served.

Silverjet operate one Boeing 767 with all business class seating and have two further Boeing 767’s on order.

Silverjet is an exciting new way to travel across the Atlantic. It has some unique features which are worth considering, particularly it’s dedicated, no hassle, terminal at London Luton where both departing and arriving passengers get to enjoy the luxury of the buffets, showers, personal service and no check-in desks. Some gimmicks are there possibly for the publicity value like the women only on-board lavatories and the carbon neutral stance but there is no doubting the sincerity of their attention to the detail, which allows a smoothness of experience from home to destination not offered by the competition (EOS and MAXjet) from Stansted. In addition to this, whilst building up their traffic, the prices on offer are very, very competitive for this standard of service.
